Today was a tough day, I always knew it was going to be, what with having to cross the Grampian mountains. The day started of bright and sunny and the road I was taking followed the river Dee. After a little while I got to Balmoral Castle, unfortunately I got there too early and the grounds were shut.

I carried on to the mountains. The mountains were steep and as I made my way up, the sky opened up and it poured with rain. This was to be the story of the day, on the steep climbs up it rained and on the descents on the other side the sun shone and I managed to dry out.
